Redding’s Mechanical is the commercial division of a family-owned New Jersey contractor that has been on the job since 1920. The work began on boilers at Princeton University and grew into a full-service mechanical firm trusted on large, occupied, and technically demanding projects across Central New Jersey.
We serve commercial, institutional, industrial, and healthcare clients — including the area’s major universities, research facilities, healthcare institutions, government buildings, and commercial campuses. General contractors and owners call us when the building cannot go dark, the schedule cannot slip, and the mechanical work has to stand up to the institution it serves.
Complex Mechanical Work, at Scale
Nearly a century of projects has taken us through plan-and-spec, design-build, tenant fit-out, and long-term service and maintenance contracts. The jobs range from ordinary system replacements to the kind of work that only comes after another contractor has already stepped away: live campuses, tight mechanical rooms, aging infrastructure, and systems that must keep running while we replace them.
As the equipment has changed, so has the shop. We keep LEED-certified staff and mechanical-compliance experience on the team, and we hire mechanics who can execute to spec, not just to a bid number. The standard is the same on every job: finished safely, on budget, and on time.
